5 tips for muscle building (5min read!)

# 01 Eat right and enough

It is pretty simple if you want to increase your muscle mass, you have to consume more calories than you burn. Depending on your body type, it will require that you take and if the number of calories for it to happen. Cut down or drop a cardio workout, as this will require that you have to consume even more calories, for a calorie surplus to be achieved. But do not stop your cardio totally, because it is very healthy for your body and exceptional for your cardiovascular, which helps your physique improve!

#02 Focus on the assignment

The reason the majority of people start lifting weights is that they wish to gain weight in muscle mass. For this reason, there is certainly nothing wrong with that, but many people quite often, because they do not see the fast results they might hope for therefore their motivation disappears slowly.

Instead of focusing on the goal, move the focus onto the very task: Getting a great workout. If you get a great workout every time and follow section #01 as well as the following sections, then you will suddenly see yourself closer to the goal.

#03 KISS

Keep It Simple, Stupid is just a saying, but it includes very well what muscle building can be all about. Work out the larger muscle groups first and focus on the heavy lifts like the squat, deadlift, bench press, etc. It is these that are helping to build your base strength and mass. Then add a few isolation exercises afterward, to fine-tune the trained muscles.

#04 It is not a sprint, it is a marathon

Building muscle mass is not something you can do overnight, it is not a sprint, it is a marathon. Remember that!

Do not think a week ahead but, focus on making it a lifestyle. There is a big difference between making it a lifestyle, or setting it as a weekly duty.

#05 Get out of your comfort zone

If u want to get bigger muscles, you need to stimulate your muscles into growing bigger or/and stronger. For this to happen, it will require that you push yourself slightly above your limit each time. Especially on the days, you don’t wish to go to the gym and workout.
